Think song-swap meets fireside chat. About the Songwriters Suzanna Choffel — Two decades of Texas music history and a voice Rolling Stone called singular. Beat poetry, smoky soul grooves, and indie-pop eccentricity in one. Lou Priest (Kate Priestly) — British-born, Austin-based, and making music that moves between soul, R&B, folk, and jazz. McLoud is also a hospice nurse practitioner, and the work shows — in the emotional clarity and warmth she brings to every song.
